What we collect when you visit, and why.

This policy covers allmycameras.com and the All My Cameras app (on the web at allmycameras.com/app/ and in the App Store and Google Play). Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, your approximate location, device and browser. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics cookies stay off unless they agree.
  • Server and network logs. Our hosting and Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site, process your IP address and request details to serve pages and stop abuse. Our server logs are kept for about two weeks.
  • Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.

We do not sell personal information.

The app and your account

You can use the app without an account; your gear, packs and chats are then saved only on your device. If you sign in, we store your email address, the gear and packs you save (including any serial numbers or notes you add) and, if you used Google, your name, so they sync between your devices. We use them only to run your account.

  • Email sign-in. We send you a one-time code by email through Resend, our email provider. We keep a scrambled copy of the code for 10 minutes.
  • Google sign-in (on the web). We receive your name and email address from Google.
  • Deleting. You can delete your account, the gear and packs saved in it and its chat history at any time in the app's Settings.

The assistant

When you ask the assistant something, your message, the recent messages in that chat and a summary of your gear and packs (names, types, weights and battery ratings, never serial numbers) are sent to Anthropic, which runs the AI model that writes the answer. Anthropic does not use them to train its models. We keep the questions and answers for 90 days to fix mistakes and improve answers, linked to your account if you are signed in, or to a random ID stored in a cookie if you are not. We also count how many questions each account or ID asks per day, to apply the daily limit.

Prices

Prices in the app come from public eBay listings that we read daily. We do not receive or store any information about eBay buyers or sellers.

When you follow a link to a store, that store may set its own cookies to credit us for a purchase. Their privacy policies apply on their sites. See our affiliate disclosure.

Advertising

The site does not show ads today. If that changes, this policy will be updated first to name the ad partner and the choices you have.

Your choices

  • Change your cookie choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on for Analytics.
  • To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected].
